If you've ever wanted to visit the Diamond State, you have until the end of the 2008 season to do so -- the heirs of late founder Mildred Steele have decided not to renew the lease, and will put the property on the market. This local news article has the sad details.

UPDATE: There is a glimmer of hope: the local historical society has applied for grants to purchase and save this drive-in. Fans of the Diamond State are directed here to find out how to give support to the effort.
