This little town's drive-in
heritage is literally buried -- under the thousands of tons of
dirt used to bring the land level with the adjacent county high
school built in the mid-'60s, so it could be used for the
athletic field. It originally sat in a little cove at the
junction of the highway and the creek running along the town
limits.
